April 16, 2026After a long time in the making, I’m happy to say that “Guided by Gut: Efficient Test-Time Scaling with Reinforced Intrinsic Confidence” has been accepted, as a main conference paper, to The 64th Annual Meeting of the Association of Computational Linguistic (ACL 2026) in San Diego! In the interview we discuss a range of topics from the role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), common misconceptions about AI in academia and the broader public, and finally beignets.
